Energy Healing for Pets
Energy Healing for Pets
Most often when our pets have an issue with their health, protocols or treatments are used to address the illness on a physical level. If there are direct causes such as overvaccination, over use of medications, yeast, poor diet etc. This is a good way to approach the problem. Unfortunately, this does not always work with all illnesses. What happens when you make all these changes such as looking at diet, lifestyle, detoxing and treating symptoms acutely and things still don’t shift?
I’ve heard of many cases where owners have said “I have tried everything and nothing has changed”. It is time to look at the energetic components of the dis-ease. I believe looking at the emotional component is very important to all health issues and should really be looked at earlier on in care.
Thoughts which lead to emotions are very strong forms of energy that can get lodged in an animal’s energy field and contribute to blocks in healing. If our pets don’t fully accept and process their inner responses to a situation at the time they experience them, it can be suppressed, blocking the energy flow. This is especially true if the animal is emotionally sensitive.
When this occurs, it can contribute to disease, physical pain, emotional suffering and altered or undesired behaviors as the vibration of the trauma becomes embedded into their bodies. These blockages of guilt, shame, fear etc., vibrate at a low frequency and become the illnesses we don't always understand. When we release these emotions that get stuck in the energy field, the body can begin to heal as the vibration returns to a normal healthy frequency.
Animals can also try to protect themselves from future hurt by placing trapped emotions around the heart in layers. This is called a heart wall. The subconscious mind chooses a substance that it would be made of if it were real. For example, my cat's heart wall was made of mice! At the time a situation occurred it is useful, but later on it affects the way their heart communicates with others. The problem is that after the threat has passed, it no longer serves them. It only blocks the animal from trusting others and affects the way they give and receive love. It can also cause physical pain in neck, shoulders and chest and emotional distress like sadness, or anxiousness.
Both Emotion Code and Reiki are amazing modalities for releasing these blockages. Emotion code uses muscle testing to identify trapped emotions in the body and releases them with the use of a magnet. Reiki channels healing source energy to the energy field through gentle touch. Both modalities can be done in person or from a distance.
Reiki healing provides physical, emotional and spiritual relief for pets. It can be used as an adjunct to veterinary work to support animals with everything from arthritis, digestive disorders, post-surgical trauma, chemo-reaction and anxiety to delaying disease progress, life transitions and end-of-life issues. It's also great for relieving stress and anxiety. Healing life force energy passes through the healer’s hands with gentle touch or from a slight distance. Reiki balances the life force energy within and balances the energy centers in the body allowing healing to occur.
I have included a case of an 11 year old female cat.
She started to pee outside the box with blood in the urine. She was taken to the vet and there was no sign of infection. The vet said it can be caused by stress and given prescription diet of kibble for stress. This was not a desirable option as she was on a raw species appropriate diet. Changes in the household had created a stressful environment as a 2 year old child that was not so good with cats had been staying in the home. After releasing emotions related to imbalances in the bladder and to the situation with the child, as well as reducing the stress in the home, she started to use the box again and the blood cleared. She had trapped emotions of anxiety, depression, fear, anger, and panic to name a few. Once the trapped emotional energy was removed her body was able to return to homeostasis. Releasing the trapped emotions helped the owner to have a better understanding of the situation and also cleared the negative emotional energy causing the physical symptoms. Cat and owner are very happy with the outcome.
